Chorzów, Poland**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**conducting research in the discipline of physical sciences (biophysics);
realization of the organizational tasks in accordance with the Individual Assignment of Duties.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (obligatory):
minimum PhD in the discipline of physical sciences or in related disciplines (biological sciences, biotechnology, biochemistry, biophysics) granted up to 12 years before the date of employment in the project;
recent, high-scoring scientific achievements in the discipline of physical sciences indexed in Scopus or Web of Science, in particular biophysics, cell biology, biological material imaging, quantitative cell analysis or application of physical methods in biological research;
command of English: min. B2 level.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (recommended):
history of significant international research activity (e.g. a documented internship abroad, participation in international conferences);
history of application for external financing of research projects through participation in competitive grant programmes;
experience in work with mammals’ cells cultures or other in-vitro cellular models;
experience in fluorescent and confocal microscopy, imaging of live cells or quantitative analysis of the microscopic images;
experience in using physical or biophysical methods for analysis of biological material, in particular Raman spectroscopy, FTIR fluorescent spectroscopy or the related methods of physicochemical analysis of biological samples;
ability to analyse experimental data, preparing results as well as illustrations and listings for scientific publications.
