We are looking for an experienced ICAM Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG) to support a secure federal environment. This role will work closely with government stakeholders and will operate through a proxy‑based access model (shoulder‑surfing).
Role Overview
The ICAM Engineer will support requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, and testing of ISVG components. The role requires deep functional knowledge of identity governance concepts, workflows, policies, and security models within ISVG.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct requirements gathering and analysis sessions with stakeholders
- Lead and participate in use case discussions
- Assist with solution design based on customer requirements and use cases
- Support development of test plans and validation activities
- Design, configure, and support ISVG solution components, including:
- Complex operational workflows
- Identity lifecycle rules
- Roles and entitlements
- Identity policies
- Forms and approval flows
- ISVG security model configuration, including:
- Access Control Instructions (ACIs)
- Groups and role‑based access
Future / Later-Phase Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements and analysis sessions for custom adapters
- Design and develop custom ISVG adapters for mission partners and external systems
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG)
- Solid background in ICAM / IAM / Identity Governance implementations
- Experience designing workflows, lifecycle rules, and provisioning models
- Understanding of ISVG security concepts (ACIs, groups, roles)
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments
- Strong communication skills for requirements and use case discussions
Nice to Have
- Experience in federal or highly regulated environments
- Experience building or supporting custom ISVG adapters
- Familiarity with identity governance best practices in large enterprise systems
