The Global Division Transportation & Places is active within transportation infrastructure, real estate, water and environment in the Nordics and Central Europe.
Our Water and Environment section at AFRY is growing and is looking for a new Water and Wastewater (WW) design engineer. We work on projects across all planning phases and collaborate with municipal, governmental, and private clients. Our projects range from small development areas to large transport infrastructure projects.
Two key responsibilities:
- Design of water and wastewater systems in Novapoint and AutoCAD for private, municipal, and governmental clients in accordance with local WW standards.
- Development of project work methodologies and close follow-up with our clients.
Qualifications:
- Good English language skills.
- Relevant Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with water and wastewater design.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Design of pipeline systems (water, wastewater and stormwater), pumping stations, reservoirs/water storage facilities, drainage systems in transportation/road projects, dimensioning of culverts.
- Professional knowledge of water, wastewater, and stormwater, and familiarity with applicable regulations.
- Experience with design tools and good knowledge of AutoCAD.
