We are looking for an experienced
Accounts Receivable Specialist with Hungarian and English
to join our Finance & Accounting team in Łódź. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end accounts receivable operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring strong relationships with clients across the Hungarian market. Responsibilities
Cash Application & Allocation:
Daily posting, matching, and clearing of incoming customer payments in accordance with banking statements and remittances. Cash Collection & Dunning:
Actively monitoring the Hungarian customer portfolio, following up on unpaid balances via phone and email, and resolving collection issues. Overdue Management:
Analyzing aging reports, tracking overdue debts, and executing recovery plans to minimize financial risk. Dispute & Query Resolution:
Investigating billing discrepancies, payment deductions, and unapplied cash in collaboration with sales, billing, and customer service teams. Account Reconciliation:
Performing regular customer account reviews and bank statement reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy. Reporting & Compliance:
Assisting in month-end and quarter-end closing activities, preparing portfolio health reports, and upholding internal control standards (SOX/statutory regulations). Requirements
Hungarian at an advanced level (minimum
C1
– written and spoken). English at a professional working level (minimum
B2/C1 ). Professional Experience:
Minimum
2 years of hands-on experience
in Accounts Receivable, with a solid background in cash allocation, collection, and overdue debt management. Domain Interest:
Genuine interest in finance and accounting processes, with an eagerness to deepen process expertise. Systems & Tools:
Practical knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Soft Skills:
High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving mindset, and strong communication and negotiation skills. You can expect from us
