Our projects At the Engineering Competence Center, we deliver services and projects for the Automotive, Rail, and Oil & Gas sectors. Our specialized engineering teams work within project and competency groups, whose activities we manage. We also conduct training and certification programs to enhance the engineering competencies of our consultants.
Position We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of Network Engineer for our client from the oil&gas industry.
Offered salary Salary: from 920 to 1100 PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences.
You’re ideal for this role if you:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related technical field.
Have extensive knowledge of copper- and optical-based communication technologies, particularly at the physical (PHY) layer.
Have in-depth knowledge of copper-based communication system architectures and products.
Have hands-on experience in specifying, designing, developing, and testing communication technologies and products.
Have experience working with several of the following technologies:
Digital Signal Processors (DSPs).
Communication modems at both electronics and firmware levels.
Digital and/or mixed-signal ASICs.
Software-Defined Radios (SDRs).
RF equipment and active antennas.
Optical communication technologies.
Have experience in end-to-end system testing and integration in laboratory or field environments.
Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with strong interpersonal abilities.
Are comfortable taking ownership, coordinating multiple projects, and influencing others.
Have the ability to lead small teams and drive initiatives with moderate scope and impact.
Are well-organized, proactive, and results-oriented.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
Managing and resolving communication-related issues and technical challenges across customer assets, ensuring the reliability and performance of deployed technologies.
Identifying and defining product and technology requirements for communication services, digital communication technologies, and related products.
Developing innovative solutions, working independently under guidance or collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Contributing to the design, development, and delivery of communication products and solutions.
Leading analytical and design activities using established technologies, proven methodologies, and best practices.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and implementation.
Supporting end-to-end system testing and integration activities in laboratory and field environments.
Driving technical initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering effective solutions to complex communication challenges.
