Senior Oracle Middleware DevOps Engineer Job Summary Join Atos as a

Senior Oracle Middleware DevOps Engineer

and become part of a cross-functional, international team developing and supporting a large-scale communication platform.

In this role, you will combine

middleware engineering, DevOps automation and operational support , with a strong focus on Oracle Middleware technologies. You will work hands-on with

Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) and Axway Gateway , while automating platform installation, configuration and deployment.

You will also have an opportunity to contribute to the platform's

cloud transformation , supporting its evolution toward modern cloud-based infrastructure and deployment practices.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation scripts using

Groovy, Python and Bash

for platform installation, configuration and deployment.

Install, configure and administer

Oracle Middleware products , Java EE application servers and integration platforms.

Develop solutions based on commercial off-the-shelf products and create custom components using

Java and other technologies

when required.

Support and administer

Linux-based environments , including development and test platforms.

Troubleshoot complex platform issues and resolve incidents as part of the

3rd line support

team.

Plan and apply patches and updates to

Oracle and Axway

products.

Cooperate directly with Oracle and Axway support teams, including handling vendor Support Requests and technical incident resolution.

Work with customers on operational issues, platform maintenance and planned technical activities.

Contribute to automation, reliability and continuous improvement of the platform.

Support the platform's ongoing transition toward

cloud technologies and modern infrastructure practices .

Required Skills and Experience

Proven professional experience as a

middleware administrator, middleware engineer or back-end developer

working with enterprise integration platforms.

Hands-on experience with

Oracle Middleware technologies .

Solid knowledge of

Linux , including day-to-day administration and troubleshooting.

Good understanding of

DevOps principles and practices .

Practical experience with

Bash scripting

and automation.

Working knowledge of

Git

and version control practices.

Professional working proficiency in

English .

Good understanding of core

ITIL processes , particularly Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management.

Ability to create and maintain high-quality technical and operational documentation.

Willingness to work across both

Development and Operations

activities.

Proactive approach to problem solving and ability to collaborate effectively in an international, cross-functional team.

Experience Considered an Advantage

Hands-on experience with

Axway Gateway .

Experience with

Ansible and/or Terraform .

Understanding of

Enterprise Integration Patterns

and system integration concepts.

Knowledge of

SOA architecture .

Experience with

AWS, VMware Tanzu or Kubernetes .

Previous involvement in

cloud migration or platform modernization

initiatives.
