We are looking for an experienced
Senior Pega Engineer
to join an in-house technology consultancy of a global consulting firm on a Permanent contract. In this role, you will take technical ownership of designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-scale
BPM solutions , driving seamless integrations, and modernizing core business architectures. Working closely with international engineering teams, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and business value in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Taking end-to-end technical ownership of core
Pega application modules, frameworks, and integration points.
Architecting robust business workflows, complex Case Management patterns, and advanced data models across enterprise application layers.
Implementing and maintaining
Data Pages, Job Schedulers, and Queue Processors to ensure high performance and system stability.
Driving hands-on integration initiatives connecting
Pega systems to external APIs, middleware (Kafka), and enterprise databases.
Conducting deep log analyses, optimizing rule resolution, and troubleshooting complex runtime bottlenecks.
Collaborating in an agile
DevOps setup , establishing robust
CI/CD pipelines , automated testing, and participating in constructive code reviews.
What We're Looking For:
6-7+ years of hands-on commercial experience delivering solutions within Pega 7 and Pega 8 environments.
Deep architectural understanding of the
Enterprise Class Structure (ECS) , the application "layer cake," data modeling, and rule resolution mechanisms.
Proven experience with integration patterns, hands-on automation testing, and deployment automation within
Agile/DevOps frameworks.
Consultant mindset: proactive problem solver, strong sense of technical ownership, comfortable giving and receiving critical feedback, and able to guide stakeholders through technical decisions.
Prior experience in banking/financial projects, Pega 8 migrations,
Kafka streaming integrations, or server/database/node classification is strongly preferred.
Must-Haves:
Certified Senior System Architect (Pega CSSA)
certification (Lead System Architect / LSA certification is a major plus).
6–7+ years of hands-on
Pega delivery experience (Pega 7/8).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
Strong professional English proficiency for daily international collaboration.
Location & Working Setup:
100% Remote working model (in Poland).
