At Cerrion, we’re building the future of AI-enabled manufacturing. Headquartered in Zurich with more than $25M in funding from Creandum, Y Combinator, and top Silicon Valley investors, we’re building the industrial AI platform to deploy AI Agents that can see what’s happening on the production floor, automatically spot problems, and instantly intervene to keep lines running smoothly, at scale. Our technology is live in factories across 18+ countries, helping leading manufacturers in glass, beverage, food, CPG, building materials, and wood cut downtime by up to 50%. We are looking for an independent Installation Engineer to work with us on a long-term B2B contract. The Opportunity You are the person who gets our AI camera systems installed right. Working from Poland, you travel to customer sites (glass plants, food factories, packaging facilities), lead the installation, and make sure every deployment meets our technical standard. You also help build the playbook: site documentation, floor plans, cable routing standards, and installation checklists that can be reused across future deployments. Most of the work happens hands-on in the field, with frequent international travel, mainly across Europe and occasionally to the US. You have seen most of what can go wrong on an industrial site. When a cable goes missing at a factory in the US, you drive to the nearest electrical shop and solve it. This is a contract engagement for an established professional running your own business (JDG or equivalent). You own your installations from the first site visit to the final debrief, organize your own work, and invoice Cerrion monthly for your services. Travel and accommodation costs for deployments are included in your invoice. Scope of Work Lead on-site installations: install cameras and hardware at industrial facilities, mainly across Europe with occasional projects in the US.
Deliver to standard: complete each installation to Cerrion’s technical specification and share learnings that improve future deployments.
Build the playbook: produce installation documentation, including floor plans, cable schematics, and configuration notes, plus reusable checklists.
Optimize the process: spot inefficiencies in how installations are done today and propose better hardware solutions.
Coordinate on site: work with local contractors and facility engineers, and solve logistical and technical problems independently, from sourcing materials locally to adapting mounting solutions.
Report back: debrief after each deployment on what worked, what didn’t, and what to improve.
We’d love to hear from you if You run your own registered business in Poland (JDG or equivalent) and can invoice on a B2B basis.
You are a licensed electrician, certified to work in electrical cabinets operating above 24V (e.g. SEP G1 E). This is mandatory. It is a legal and safety requirement for our deployments.
You bring 5+ years of hands‑on electrical or field installation experience.
You can read and produce floor plans and wiring diagrams.
You are resourceful and independent, and solve problems on the ground without needing every next step spelled out.
You are comfortable with everyday collaboration tools: shared spreadsheets, project trackers, and Slack.
You are available for frequent international travel.
You speak and write fluent English.
Nice-to-Have Experience in manufacturing, automation, or building systems.
German, Spanish, or French.
Why work with Cerrion Impact: Every camera you mount and cable you route powers AI Agents running on real production lines in factories across 18+ countries.
Steady, long‑term work: A growing deployment pipeline across Europe and the US, with your scope growing as our footprint grows.
Compensation: Competitive B2B rate, invoiced monthly, with travel costs covered through your invoice.
Autonomy: You plan your own work around agreed project timelines, with minimal bureaucracy.
Team: Collaborate with AI PhDs, ex-Googlers, and serial entrepreneurs from around the world.
