Knowledge, skills and experience
Degree in Accounting or Finance
Deep understanding of basic accounting principles
Excellent English language skills (intermediate and above), any other European language is a plus
Team leader
Minimum 7+ years on the position of Senior Accounts Payable Controller
Key Activities
Tasks distribution and follow-up
Ensures that tasks are performed timely and accurately
Ensures that all the procedures are followed by staff
Addressing and resolving issues escalated from teams and external partners
Completing pending reports with subordinates on a monthly basis
Review performance and provide support on team problematic areas
Weekly reports of team progress and main issues
Conducting weekly meetings with subordinates
Maintains department’s manuals and instructions
Tour cost /Deposit/CB/MC costs tasks distribution, follow-up and completion supervision
Recharge tour costs of sales to other companies inside the group
Assists with monthly and yearly closure activities according to assigned plan
Keeping information confidential
Other current tasks assigned by Client/JTBE AP Manager or Assistant Manager
System development and implementation according to department`s needs
Complexity
Working with substantial number of staff in a high pressure environment
To identify and timely prevent staff mistakes and mishandling
