Guarantee Specialist – Trade Finance Services in Poznań

Your Tasks

Processing, issuance, application, administration and monitoring of

bank guarantees and sureties;

Managing the

end-to-end guarantee process , from the initial request and coordination with banks through to the release or return of guarantees;

Reviewing and negotiating

guarantee wording

with banks, Sales and customers;

Reviewing and processing

Letters of Credit (L/Cs);

Coordinating with

Treasury Front Office

regarding existing guarantee facilities and monitoring maturities, deadlines and potential claims under guarantees;

Communicating and collaborating with banks, customers, Sales, Procurement, Legal and other internal and external business partners;

Applying relevant

ICC rules and standards, particularly URDG and UCP;

Supporting

Treasury reporting and regulatory requirements;

Supporting the operation and continuous development of the

Komgo guarantee management platform;

Acting as a subject matter expert for Group companies on guarantee management-related matters.

Your Skills

You hold a university degree in a relevant field or have completed comparable professional training and bring

at least five years of relevant experience in the guarantee business / trade finance;

You have

in-depth knowledge of guarantee processes and documentary trade finance , including a strong understanding of the related processes and interdependencies. Experience with the

Komgo trade finance platform

is an advantage;

You are able to maintain a clear overview even under time pressure while coordinating complex processes involving multiple stakeholders and topics. You can quickly analyze and assess complex matters and communicate your conclusions clearly and appropriately to different audiences;

You have a

structured, diligent and results-oriented

way of working;

You are a strong team player with

excellent communication skills;

Fluency in German and English (C1 level)

is required.
