Elastic is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Elasticsearch - Distributed Systems team and focus on scale, performance, and resilience, especially for our Serverless offering. You will tackle deep distributed systems challenges across cluster nodes and data indexing and management. You will design and operate core pieces of our Serverless Elasticsearch, push the limits of shards and nodes, and ensure safety and liveness in a highly distributed environment.
