Senior BI Consultant – Hybrid in Katowice

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

We are looking for Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, an experienced BI consultant who presents self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implementation of the solutions that enable our clients and business partners taking efficient decisions with ease.
• Design, implement and deploy reports, dashboards, data models and access rules for end users.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• Solving complex business problems at large scale.
• Understanding business needs and fulfilling them with the right solution.
• Participation in cross-functional initiatives and collaboration across various domains.
• Acting as SME for business intelligence related issues in large projects.
• Interacting with data engineers, product/project managers and partners from all over the world.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in similar role.
• Strong experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience in using various data sources, e.g. SQL, Sharepoint, flat files, web sources.
• Strong experience in and understanding of relational and dimensional databases design and implementation.
• Understanding of the importance of governance and security rules when handling data.
• Experience in converting business problems/challenges to technical solutions considering security, performance, scalability etc.
• Experience in enterprise-class solution implementations.
• Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.
• Excellent inter-personal skills.
• Very good English (verbal and written).

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Communicative level in one of following: French (preferably)/German/Spanish (verbal and written).
• Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Experience in another BI tool like Qlik Sense, SAP BO, Cognos, OBIEE.
• Experience in BI/ETL tools on Azure/GCP/AWS cloud.
• Experience in other RDBMS like Oracle, DB2, Teradata.
• Experience with data lakes.
• Experience with real-time data processing and data warehousing aggregation.
