The ideal candidate combines solid engineering fundamentals with a working UI/UX sensibility, ensuring designs are implemented faithfully while flagging usability or consistency issues early.
You will work closely with the Senior Design/Developer and backend teams to deliver modular, maintainable front-end solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop front-end features using React. js, Type Script, and modern front-end tooling, per approved designs and the Design System.
Build reusable UI components and contribute to shared component libraries.
Collaborate with the Senior Design/Developer to ensure pixel-accurate, design-faithful implementation.
Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs / backend microservices.
Optimize application performance, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects and production issues.
Support automated testing (unit/integration) for front-end code.
Required Skills
Strong React. js and Type Script development experience.
Solid understanding of modern front-end architecture patterns (component-based design, state management e. g.
Redux/Context API).
Working familiarity with design tools (e. g., Figma) -able to read, interpret, and faithfully implement designs.
Experience integrating with REST/Graph QL APIs.
Basic understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
Exposure to containerized application environments and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice-to-Have
Exposure to Micro Frontend concepts (Module Federation). Basic SQL/database knowledge. Financial services or transfer agency domain exposure.
