Next Frontier Quantum Specialist in Katowice

Location: Katowice / Wrocław - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

Opportunities:

• Quantum Senior Associate will play a hands-on delivery role across Quantum Technology initiatives.
• The role requires practical experience in quantum-safe security and/or quantum computing.
• Primary focus on quantum safety, including post-quantum cryptography readiness.
• Secondary focus on quantum computing use cases such as optimization, machine learning and simulation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development of quantum safety and quantum computing solutions, prototypes and demonstrations.
• Contribute to post-quantum cryptography readiness assessments.
• Develop and evaluate quantum algorithms and workflows for selected use cases.
• Build and maintain software tools, accelerators and proof-of-concept assets.
• Prepare technical documentation, assessment reports and presentation materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in testing, validation and benchmarking activities.
• Stay current on developments in quantum computing and related technologies.

Skills And Attributes For Success:

• Foundational understanding of quantum computing concepts.
• Basic understanding of post-quantum cryptography concepts.
• Familiarity with cryptographic concepts.
• Experience with at least one quantum development platform.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Working knowledge of software development fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in global teams.
• Interest in emerging technologies.

Quantum Specialist Responsibilities:

• Support quantum risk assessments.
• Assist in prototyping and benchmarking post-quantum cryptography algorithms.
• Contribute to analysis of quantum-safe and hybrid cryptographic approaches.
• Support development of crypto-inventory and discovery capabilities.
• Execute testing of hybrid key exchange mechanisms.
• Assist with implementation and validation of crypto-agility patterns.
• Contribute to creation and maintenance of migration guides and standards documentation.

Quantum Compute & Algorithms:

• Develop and evaluate quantum algorithms using industry-standard platforms.
• Support experimentation and testing to assess practicality of quantum use cases.
• Build proof-of-concept solutions for optimization and simulation.
• Perform basic resource estimation and analysis of quantum circuits.
• Maintain reproducible experimentation environments.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields.
• 2–5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing prototypes or technical solutions.
• Familiarity with Python and scientific computing libraries.
• Exposure to quantum computing concepts is preferred.
• Understanding of cybersecurity and cryptography fundamentals is desirable.
• Experience working in agile, research or innovation-focused environments is advantageous.
• Willingness to work with global teams.
