We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer or Software Architect to join a project focused on high-performance data processing, network telemetry, and the development of scalable network services.
Experience required:
- Strong proficiency in Go and asynchronous Python programming.
- Proven experience designing and optimizing high-performance network services and large-scale data processing systems.
- In-depth knowledge of L2/L3/L4 networking, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, and MTU.
- Hands-on experience with network telemetry protocols, including NetFlow v5/v9, IPFIX, and sFlow.
- Experience with Apache Kafka, Protocol Buffers, and columnar or time-series databases such as ClickHouse.
- Strong performance engineering skills, including profiling, memory management, CPU utilization, and throughput optimization.
- Good understanding of Linux internals, containerization, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with automated testing, load testing, and maintaining high software quality standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot network-related issues using packet capture and traffic analysis tools.
Nice to have:
- Experience with eBPF, NATS, NSQ, or ZeroMQ.
- Network device configuration automation across vendors such as Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
- Familiarity with Azure or AWS services and Windows/Active Directory integrations.
- Experience designing distributed systems, state synchronization mechanisms, and recovery strategies.
- Experience packaging and deploying self-contained applications within customer-managed infrastructure.
