Reviewing and commenting on national and international contracts, taking into account legal, technical and commercial aspects
Supporting the drafting and negotiation of national and international contracts
Analyzing contracts and project scopes to understand contractual obligations, technical requirements and commercial implications
Supporting the identification and management of contractual risks in cooperation with project teams
Supporting Project Management in the notification, assessment, preparation, assertion or defense, negotiation and monitoring of claims, including the preparation of notifications and claim letters
Supporting the assessment of contractual risks and claims, taking legal, technical and commercial aspects into consideration
Supporting the management of contractual relationships and proactively helping to resolve contractual issues
Preparing standardized agreements, royalty agreements and other contractual frameworks in cooperation with Sales and Project Purchasing
Providing contract and claim management training to employees
Your skills
A degree in Law, such as a Bachelor of Laws or Master of Laws, or a comparable qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in contract management, claim management or a comparable role
Strong knowledge of international contract law and experience in international contract negotiations
Technical affinity and the ability to understand technical project scopes and requirements
A good commercial understanding and business-oriented mindset, with the ability to recognize the financial and commercial implications of contractual obligations, risks and claims
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex contractual situations from different perspectives
The ability to explain complex legal and contractual matters in a clear and practical way to non-lawyers
Experience working with Project Management, Sales and other business functions
A proactive, solution-oriented and collaborative approach
Confident use of MS Office
Business-fluent English and German
