Junior Accounts Payable Controller (10/32) Kraków
( Hybrid - 2 days in the office / 3 days remote )
PROJECT We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accounts Payable Controller to support daily accounts payable operations in an international business environment. In this role, you will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring smooth communication with vendors and internal stakeholders. YOU WILL
Verify and process supplier invoices in line with internal procedures.
Enter and maintain invoice data accurately within financial systems.
Communicate professionally with suppliers regarding invoice status, payments, and inquiries.
Prepare and perform supplier account reconciliations.
Resolve invoice discrepancies, reminders, complaints, and payment-related queries.
Provide timely updates to internal stakeholders on payment statuses.
Support month-end closing activities and related reporting tasks.
Prepare weekly progress updates and ad hoc statistical reports.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and documentation.
Provide backup support for team members when required.
Perform other accounts payable tasks assigned by the supervisor.
MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Understanding of basic accounting principles.
Good knowledge of
MS Excel .
Good command of
English
(Intermediate level or higher).
Around 1 year of relevant professional experience .
Strong time management and organizational skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibility and self-discipline.
Team-oriented mindset.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
NICE TO HAVE
Previous experience working with supplier invoicing or accounts payable processes.
Experience handling a high volume of transactions and reconciliations.
