Our client is an international company operating for years in the IT consulting market.
Senior Data Engineer location: Kraków, Katowice
Tasks
Designing and implementing reliable and scalable data processing pipelines;
Continuously improving existing data platforms for performance, cost, and maintainability;
Closely collaborating with clients to understand their needs and deliver appropriate solutions;
Collaborating with other teams and technical leaders across the organization.
Ensuring solutions comply with applicable laws, standards, and regulatory requirements;
Tracking new technologies and initiating and implementing innovative solutions.
Desired Skills & Experience
Very good knowledge of data platform architecture;
Practical experience in building solutions in Databricks using Python/PySpark (alternatively Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse);
Experience in software development;
Knowledge of Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools;
Very good command of English
Communicative and open to teamwork
Good To Have
Experience with platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar solutions;
Experience in designing solutions based on data platforms;
Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Azure cloud services, and .NET;
Knowledge of AI-supported development environments, agentic programming techniques, and MCP (Model Context Protocol).
