We partner with National & International prime contractors to provide them with qualified talent they can trust. Our objective is to help our general contractor partners build out project teams for high level infrastructure projects across the US. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing IT projects as well as improving processes and network systems. They thrive in a fast paced and team oriented environment. An individual who will do well in this position is self oriented, organized, a great communicator, and approachable. Comfortable working within a team environment as well as traveling once a month to NY.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS
- Collaborate with Expedition Lead and Transformation coach to understand the Expedition roadmap and necessary outcomes
- Develop and deliver coaching plan to get Expedition teams to their targeted outcomes
- Effectively detect, communicate, and elevate organizational, technological, and other impediments
- Teach and mentor Expedition team members on Lean/Agile approaches for flowing work
- Teach and mentor Expedition team members on XP engineering practices, including TDD, CI and pairing
- Facilitate code reviews, provide leadership perspective on design and code quality
- Coach Expeditions within the system of delivery to implement DevOps practices and technologies, including delivery pipeline design and development, cloud technologies and infrastructure as code, and continuous delivery
Requirements
- Strong experience working with Lean; must have a breadth of experience in a variety of Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe etc.)
- Prior experience mentoring teams to adopt Agile practices as an external coach, ScrumMaster or Product Owner
- Strong, flexible communications skills utilizing different mediums
