Project description
We are looking for an experienced Axiom SL Tester / QA Analyst to support regulatory reporting implementations and change initiatives.
The successful candidate will have hands‑on experience testing Axiom SL / Controller View, ideally across both Nasdaq Reg Cloud and customised Axiom SL solutions.
The role will focus on ensuring the quality and accuracy of regulatory reporting solutions through effective test preparation, execution, defect management and data validation.
Responsibilities
Analyse business and functional requirements and translate them into appropriate test scenarios and test cases.
Create and maintain test plans, test scripts and test cases for Axiom SL regulatory reporting solutions.
Prepare and validate test data covering relevant business and regulatory scenarios.
Execute functional, system, integration, regression and end‑to‑end testing.
Validate Axiom SL data mappings, transformations, calculations, business rules and regulatory reporting outputs.
Perform source‑to‑target data validation and reconciliation, using SQL where required.
Test both standard Reg Cloud functionality and client‑specific/customised Axiom SL solutions.
Identify, document and track defects through investigation, remediation and retesting.
Support UAT, release testing and production deployment validation.
Work closely with Business Analysts, Axiom SL Developers/Configurators, regulatory SMEs and other technology teams.
Maintain appropriate testing evidence and documentation to support governance and audit requirements.
SKILLS Must have
MUST HAVE: 3–5 years of hands‑on Axiom SL / Controller View experience, with a strong focus on testing/QA.
Experience within a bank or financial‑services regulatory reporting environment.
Exposure to European regulatory reporting such as COREP, FINREP, LCR, NSFR, ALMM, Ana Credit or other local regulatory returns.
Experience supporting Axiom SL upgrades, regulatory changes, migrations or Reg Cloud implementations.
Understanding of regulatory data lineage, data quality and reconciliation controls.
Practical experience creating test cases, test scripts, test data and test plans.
Experience executing and documenting functional, regression, integration and end‑to‑end testing.
Relevant experience with Nasdaq Reg Cloud and/or customised Axiom SL solutions.
Good understanding of regulatory reporting processes, data flows, mappings and reporting outputs.
Strong SQL and data validation/reconciliation skills.
Experience with defect management and test management tools such as JIRA, Xray, ALM or equivalent.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
