Our client, a German fintech company building a modern wealth management platform, is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join their product team on a long-term contract (minimum 12 months). Remote from Germany or Poland. What you will do
Take ownership of features end to end: understand business requirements, implement them, and hand them over to stakeholders (business analysts, QA) Design and implement backend services in Java using REST and event-driven approaches (OpenAPI/Swagger, JAX-RS, Apache Kafka) Build clean, component-based frontends in Vue.js Work closely with consultants, developers and architects, and take part in code reviews and technical decisions Develop in short agile iterations with GitLab CI, automated testing and a cloud environment (Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher) Requirements:
Around 10 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer (mid to senior level) Strong Java skills, ideally with asynchronous/reactive patterns (Futures, RxJava or similar) Solid experience with REST, OpenAPI, JAX-RS, JPA/Hibernate, Git and Maven Experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging systems Quality-first mindset: JUnit/TestNG, integration testing, TDD Ability to assess architectural trade-offs and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders Fluent English (must), German is a plus Process: screening call, technical interview with the team, final interview with the team lead.
