We are looking for someone who can help establish whether our applications meet their requirements and work well for users.
The role focuses on manual testing of web applications, working closely with developers and colleagues responsible for analysis.
Responsibilities
Prepare test scenarios and cases based on requirements.
Carry out functional, exploratory and regression testing.
Check complete user workflows.
Report defects with clear steps to reproduce them and an assessment of their impact.
Verify fixes and communicate test results and risks.
Help clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
Requirements
Practical web application testing skills.
The ability to write test scenarios and clear defect reports.
Attention to detail, independent working and an understanding of the user’s perspective.
A basic understanding of how applications work and how data flows through them.
Effective teamwork and clear communication of findings.
