We are looking for an Application Engineer to join an international engineering and manufacturing environment. This role combines engineering, product development and digitalisation, with a focus on maintaining and improving internal applications and product configurators. You will work closely with Engineering, R&D and other departments to ensure new products, technical changes and product data are correctly reflected in internal systems. Key Responsibilities
Maintain, troubleshoot and improve existing applications and product configurators. Implement new product ranges and technical changes into internal systems. Maintain accurate product data in cooperation with the Master Data team. Collaborate with Engineering and R&D to translate technical requirements into application updates. Coordinate improvements with external developers and support and train end users. Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in application management, application maintenance or a comparable role. Strong interest in technical applications, product configuration and digital solutions. Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. Good working knowledge of MS Office. Good command of English. Nice to have:
Experience with product configurators, PLM/PDM, ERP, product data or BOMs. Knowledge of SQL Server or C# is an advantage, but not essential. What’s on Offer?
