We are expanding into the English market and are looking for an experienced Cruise Director to join our team on European river cruises.
This position is a key onboard role, representing the company and ensuring guests have a smooth and enriching experience throughout their journey.
Key responsibilities include: Acting as the company’s representative onboard , maintaining excellent guest relations.
Serving as the main public relations contact for passengers, crew, and partners.
Coordinating all tours and excursions organized during the cruise.
Presenting the daily programs and delivering clear information to guests.
Providing cultural and historical presentations related to the regions visited.
Resolving problems and handling incidents to guarantee guest satisfaction.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cruise Director on river cruises (highly valued) or similar leadership roles in tourism.
Previous experience as a Tour Manager or Local Guide managing cultural trips is an asset.
Very high level of English (bilingual required) .
Strong skills in communication, public speaking, and guest service.
Leadership, problem-solving abilities, and the flexibility to manage dynamic situations.
Academic background in History, Art, or related fields will be considered an advantage.
