This is a remote position. JOB TITLE: Drafter
Type:Full Time | 40 hours per week
Rate:$10AUD/hour (negotiable to the right candidate)
Purpose:
The position's primary responsibility is to create technical drawings to help design floor plans to build real estate or architectural projects. This highly-trained draftsman will work with architects and engineers to design and create 3D computer models of buildings from blueprints or from scratch.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Utility/Transformers Drafter (industrial) is a PLUS Proficiency in AutoCAD is a PLUS and
Solidworks 3D is a MUS
T Experience in sheet metal and fabrication is a MUST Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally Team Working skills and a collaborative approach to work The ability to multitask and prioritize your workload The ability to think strategically A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Experience working for an Australian company Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD (2d) and Solidworks (3d) software Work with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications Write related technical documents such as material lists and cost estimates Ensure that all drawings are accurate and meet industry standards Maintain a library of standard drawing templates Update existing drawings as new information becomes available
