Data Engineer with strong GCP and BigQuery expertise
to support the development and maintenance of a cloud-based data platform. The platform is built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with BigQuery at its core. You will work across the entire data lifecycle, from building data pipelines and integrating external APIs to developing data models and supporting Business Intelligence solutions. Tasks
Design, build, maintain and optimize data pipelines using Python and SQL. Develop and manage data workflows orchestrated with Apache Airflow. Integrate data from external systems and third-party APIs. Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot containerized workloads running on Google Cloud Run. Develop and maintain curated data models and semantic layers in BigQuery. Work with data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes and dimensional data modelling. Build and maintain Power BI data models, semantic layers and reports. Requirements
Proven experience working as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer or in a similar role. Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Very good knowledge of BigQuery, including data modelling and query optimization. Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. Practical experience with Apache Airflow and workflow orchestration. Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines in production environments. Experience integrating data from external systems using REST APIs. Knowledge of Google Cloud Run and experience deploying or troubleshooting workloads. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modelling. Experience creating and maintaining Power BI models, reports and semantic layers. 100% remote cooperation. Flexible cooperation model: 100% workload until July 2027, followed by approximately 50% workload for the remainder of the year.
