We are seeking an experienced Health Economist / HTA Consultant to support a leading international life sciences organisation on projects involving health economic modelling, evidence generation and health technology assessment.
This is a contractor opportunity suited to a specialist who can contribute to health economic analyses and/or the preparation of documentation supporting Polish HTA and reimbursement submissions.
Key responsibilities Develop cost-effectiveness, cost-utility and budget impact models using Microsoft Excel.
Conduct deterministic and probabilistic sensitivity analyses, scenario analyses and model validation.
Support statistical analyses, including survival analysis and extrapolation of long-term clinical outcomes.
Identify, review and synthesise clinical, epidemiological, cost and health utility data from published sources.
Conduct systematic literature searches using medical databases such as Pub Med/MEDLINE, Embase and the Cochrane Library.
Apply PICO frameworks and relevant HTA methodologies and guidelines.
Prepare technical reports and documentation supporting HTA and reimbursement submissions.
Develop Power Point presentations and communicate findings to project teams and clients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including health economists, statisticians and scientific reviewers.
Requirements MSc in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Biotechnology or another relevant quantitative or scientific discipline.
Ideally, at least 3 years of relevant experience in health economics, HEOR or HTA.
Practical experience in health economic modelling, including cost-effectiveness, cost-utility and/or budget impact analyses, and/or experience preparing Polish HTA and reimbursement submission materials.
Good understanding of statistical methods used in health economic evaluation.
Knowledge of evidence-based medicine and HTA methodologies.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong report-writing capabilities.
Native-level Polish, spoken and written.
Fluent English, spoken and written.
Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Familiarity with Polish AOTMi T guidelines and reimbursement requirements.
Experience within a pharmaceutical company, market access team or specialist HEOR/HTA consultancy.
Working knowledge of R and/or VBA.
Relevant scientific publications or conference contributions.
