Role description:
The Junior Receiving & Returns Area Coordinator is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely receipt of deliveries, processing related documentation and handling returned goods in accordance with established warehouse procedures. The role also contributes to maintaining an organized, safe and efficient receiving, returns and error area.
Responsibilities: - Receive and unload deliveries and place goods in the appropriate warehouse areas in accordance with FIFO principles - Check, sign, scan and process delivery documents, credit notes and return documentation according to established procedures - Label and number received pallets correctly and register relevant delivery information in company systems - Monitor the flow of unprocessed goods and follow established receiving priorities - Identify damaged goods, pallets, packaging or documentation discrepancies and escal - Sort customer and supplier returns and prepare goods for further processing or return to suppliers - Maintain order in the receiving, returns, error and related warehouse areas - Cooperate with the Purchasing Department, shift seniors and other colleagues when resolving day‑to‑day issues - Monitor the condition and availability of work equipment, scanners and warehouse machinery - Check the charging status of electric pallet trucks and ensure equipment is charged when required - Maintain designated areas for empty pallets, cardboard and other waste and follow established waste management procedures - Follow warehouse safety requirements, work instructions and equipment usage rules
Requirements: - Knowledge of the Polish and English language. - Able to organize daily tasks and follow priorities. - Able to work carefully with goods, paperwork and data.
As an advantage: - UDT license - Experience checking deliveries for damaged or missing goods. - Experience using barcode scanners and handheld warehouse terminals. - Basic knowledge of warehouse work, such as receiving goods, handling returns and following FIFO rules.
