Role Overview: We are seeking a Bertha Certified Test Operator to support our autonomous vehicle projects. The Bertha certification indicates a high level of competence in real-world vehicle testing, system awareness, and public interaction—critical for gathering meaningful data and maintaining a safe AV experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor autonomous vehicles with a focus on safety and system performance.
- Provide real-time observations and log anomalies using dedicated software tools.
- Engage with ride-hailing passengers as part of the AV experience.
- Execute route testing in diverse environments, including city and highway scenarios.
- Ensure compliance with Bertha certification protocols and data integrity standards.
- Generate comprehensive test reports and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and early mornings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bertha Certification for Autonomous Vehicle Testing.
- Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean record and at least 3 years of experience.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Comfortable using digital tools for reporting and analysis.
- Excellent judgment, focus, and communication skills.
