The R&D Technician position will be more involved in detailed testing and use of laboratory equipment and machines.
Data collection as well as some analysis is expected.

Responsibilities
Conduct laboratory tests to assist engineers in making qualitative or quantitative analyses of materials.
Perform routine analyses to check accuracy, applicability, and reasonableness of test data.
Record data and prepares simple charts or graphs.
Accurately follow work instructions along with established operating procedures and test methods.
Maintain and clean laboratory instruments or equipment.
Provide and maintain safe work environment by participating in safety programs, committees, or teams and by conducting laboratory/plant safety audits.
Provide technical support or assistance to internal stakeholders.
Determine durability, strength, density parameters by utilizing hand tools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Laboratory experience
- High school diploma
- High School Matriculation
- Technical Diploma
Skills & Behavior
Ability to multitask; monitor documents for several experiments at one time.
Ability to work well with others in a high paced environment.
Complete assigned task using logic and reasoning.

Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements
Continuously stand up to 4 hours.
Walking short distances through the department/building.
Use hands/arms to pick and carry product and operate required equipment.
