A large-scale consumer application with millions of active users requires a robust web testing strategy to ensure stability, reliability, and a seamless user experience. The project focuses on building and expanding a scalable web test automation suite, improving test coverage, and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. The goal is to establish sustainable automation processes that minimize manual effort and support continuous product development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated web tests using Playwright
- Help build and expand the web automation test suite
- Collaborate with engineers to implement automated testing workflows and improve test coverage
- Support the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Leverage AI-powered tools and agents to improve test automation efficiency
- Help create a maintainable, scalable automation solution that minimizes ongoing manual effort
- Work closely with engineering team to identify testing needs, troubleshoot issues, and adapt to evolving project requirements
Skills Required
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for web test automation
- Strong understanding of web testing principles and automation practices
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test suites
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
